Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-10-30. This policy explains what EZ Striders Endurance (“we”, “the team”) collects through this website and how it is used.
What we collect
When you register for the team, you give us:
- Required: full name, email address, city, state, primary sports, and your acknowledgment of the membership expectations.
- Optional: upcoming races or goals, Instagram handle, interest in team apparel, and how you heard about us.
- Consent choices: whether you agreed to membership emails (required to register) and whether you opted in to promotional emails (optional), with the date and the version of this policy you saw.
We do not ask for payment details, dates of birth, home addresses or phone numbers. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party fonts on this site.
How we use it
- To maintain the official athlete roster and contact you about your membership.
- To send team community and apparel updates.
- Only if you opted in: to send occasional promotional news, which may include offers from team partners or sponsors. These emails come from the team.
What we never do
- We never publish registrations or display member details on this website.
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never automatically share your personal information with sponsors or partners. If we ever wanted to share anything with a partner, we would ask for your specific permission first.
Where it’s stored
Registrations are submitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a server-side function hosted by our website host, and stored in a private database operated by our database provider (Supabase). Access is limited to the team’s administrators. These providers process the data on our behalf as service providers.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as IP addresses in short-lived server logs for security and reliability. We do not store your IP address with your registration.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration while you’re part of the team. If you ask to leave, we delete your registration within 30 days, except where we must keep a record of an unsubscribe request.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email or by contacting us.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your registration at any time by contacting us at Placeholder · team contact email.
Age
Registration is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian contact us before registering.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. Material changes affecting how we use existing registrations will be communicated by email.
